Our 48mm thick solid timber core doors utilise the high security Avantis lock as standard. This new locking mechanism carries the market's largest triangulated dead bolt, which makes for greater compression on a closed door and added security. We can also offer other security upgrades including the Avantis cylinder guard and Magnum cylinder lock. With all these options and features it's little wonder that our doors carry the very highest specification available in the UK.

Our ProSecure door handle features security protection that burglars can see and patented reinforcement technology that they can't. The ProSecure door handle, manufactured from a strong zinc alloy, has a wealth of features to provide enhanced security and visible protection. Secured by Design approved, the Police Preferred Specification logo is engraved onto the handle to act as a visual deterrent.

Not only does Solidor offer the market's widest range of composite doors, but we can also offer our customers the option of a traditional, sculptured or a modern chamfered door frame in 9 colours. These are manufactured from lead-free materials by Kömmerling, one of Europe's leading PVCu extruders. We can also offer a range of Stormguard low thresholds, while are all mobility friendly.

Unlike the majority of other composite doors on the market, our products are truly solid. These other inferior doors are manufactured in the Far East and contain foam, which is not good for the environment. The Solidor range of doors is manufactured using a solid timber core that's obtained from fully sustainable sources. It's also 48mm thick, 10% thicker than the nearest alternative.
